Relaxation vs Tension

Mid-week, and we each find ourselves harried, rushed for time. There’s so much to still tick off our never-ending TO-DO lists before the week draws to a close.

Earlier today, I came upon a classical Chinese proverb: “Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.”
. . . And it left me thinking: how many layers of our authentic, real selves are hidden, buried, beneath layers of superficial, stifled living? How much of our tension stems from the expectation of others? Who is the real YOU, the real ME, without the veils and facades? Onwards, Upwards, and Inwards!

Stay Inspired!
